Trail Cam Pictures
I recently set out a trail cam on some land that I hunt to track potential wildlife movements and who knows maybe catch a sasquatch? I have a couple of trail cameras that anyone can purchase on a budget. Most of my gear is purchased on a limited budget and in future posts I will discuss the gear that I use starting out as an amateur researcher. These pictures where taken with my Primos Truth Cam 46. The camera was out for a month and I left a payday candy bar out just to get some curious critters to stop buy. Well I did not catch a bigfoot on the trail cam I did get some great pics of white tail deer and coyotes. For my next trail cam deployment, I am going to set the camera facing a dumpster on the same property just to see what could be dumpster diving. Although it most likely could be bear, racoons or opossum, it could also be a bigfoot habituated to the dumpster in such a remote location. I believe that trail cameras would have better luck capturing a bigfoot if they are placed in campsites or around dumpsters instead of randomly in the middle of the woods. Many researchers believe that bigfoot can see the IR spectrum and avoid camera traps. The pictures of the deer and coyotes are below.

First Post/Welcome
Welcome to my blog dedicated to researching Bigfoot/Sasquatch in Eastern North Carolina. This is a work in progress so come back often to see whats new! I have decided to create this blog for several reasons. The first is to encourage people to report sightings of Bigfoot in North Carolina, specifically east of I-95. The second is to reach out to other researchers to work towards a common goal. And to share my research with others. I have been interested in Bigfoot ever since I was a young kid and I have logged many hours reading books and researching online. And now I want to pursue field research as well.
Many people only associate the Bigfoot phenomenon with the Pacific Northwest however, sightings of this elusive creature have been reported in every state except for Hawaii. According to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization(BFRO) there are only 76 sightings listed for the state of North Carolina on their public online database. North Carolina has a unique terrain with mountains in the western part of the state, foot hills in the Piedmont(central region), and flat lands of the eastern part of the state. The state is also heavily forested and has vast swamps with abundant amounts of wildlife. There are also many state/national parks and national forests that would support a creature such as Sasquatch.
One might ask: Why Eastern North Carolina? And my response would be that I have spent my entire life living in Eastern NC and have logged many hours of my short life hunting, fishing, and camping in many different places in East NC. I also believe that sightings of these creatures occur more frequently than there are reports submitted on online databases due to fear of ridicule for coming forward and most people do not know who to turn to after an encounter. I myself have never had an encounter myself, but I have talked with several people over the years who have and I am convinced that they could live in this part of the state. I want to encourage anyone that feels like they have had an encounter in Eastern North Carolina to submit a report to me and to also submit a report to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization. I will respond as quickly as I can and I will respect the privacy of anyone that contacts me. Keep in mind that I am only one person and not a large research organization. I am not a member of the BFRO, but they have far more resources than I do and I believe that any information relating to Bigfoot research should be shared!
If you wish to contact me feel free to do so. I also want to encourage readers to post comments. However I am a family man and I ask that you keep any comments, concerns, or suggestions PG. The Bigfoot community can be harsh and I believe that we should work together and not against each other. Thanks for visiting and please stop buy often to see whats new!
Thanks!
